After the success of the first and the second ISAM meeting held in March 2008 and 2009, we decided to have third one next spring as an ISAM2010. We hope ISAM2010 should motivate participants to introduce their recent activities and outcomes, to exchange ideas and to develop collaboration in the research area relevant to climate and environment.
We are delighted to invite you to the International Symposium on Agricultural Meteorology 2010 (ISAM2010) to be held on March 18 - 19, 2010, at the Meijo University in Nagoya, Japan. The ISAM2010 is sponsored by the Society of Agricultural Meteorology of Japan and the Annual Conference 2010 for SAMJ will be also held in conjunction to ISAM2010.

In this Symposium, the Proceedings will not be published. Instead, the paper presented at the symposium can be submitted to Journal of Agricultural Meteorology (JAM) under the following special conditions.
1. The paper will be reviewed and judged more quickly as compared with the normal review process. The first result of the review will be informed to the Author by mid-April.
2. Young researchers (up to 34 years old) and foreign researchers (oversea participant only) can receive a 50% discount on publication charge (excluding excess page (additional page) and color page charge, for detail of publishing charge see "Author Instruction" of JAM ) after acceptance for publication.
If you are going to submit a paper to JAM, please submit an abstract with an application form and submit the full paper at the symposium site (see Important Deadline and Instruction for Abstract). Please note that no applications will be accepted after the abstract submission deadline for contribution Journal of Agricultural Meteorology.
Please prepare a camera-ready one-page abstract following the detailed instructions described here. (sample abstract :MS Word file).
Authors are requested to submit one original and a copy of a camera-ready abstract to the ISAM2010 organizing committee by mailing by January 31, 2010 (general deadline is February 10, 2010). Authors are also requested to email to ISAM2010 (ISAM2010_application@ml.affrc.go.jp) with the electrical files (MS Word or PDF).(e-mail address and mailing address are written in sample abstract file)
If you want to submit your paper to Journal of Agricultural Meteorology, you should send abstract with the electrical files with an application form (MS Word file) until January 8, 2010, and by mailing untill January 10, 2010.
